On several occasions I have taken the commuter rail from North Grafton and Westborough and on every trip I had to ask the conductor to take my fare. I have also taken the "green line" into Boston and have seen far too many of the passengers avoid paying their fare. It's time they started collecting on these trips. It is NOT the responsibility of the taxpayers of Central and Western Massachusetts to make up the MBTA deficit caused by mismanagement, carelessness, and neglect on the part of the "T."
I am fed up with subsidizing the "Inside 128 Crowd"
I thought that my experience might have been an isolated situation until I took a poll of six random individuals at a candidate’s night in my town. I was shocked to learn that EVERYONE that I spoke to had a similar experience on the MBTA. This nonsense has to stop immediately!
