MBTA customers now have access to on-line purchase of fare value for their CharlieCard along with the ability to register their CharlieCard on-line, providing added convenience and security, thanks to new state of the art computer technology.
The T now offers customers the option to create a MyCharlie Account. Setting up a MyCharlie Account online and registering a CharlieCard provides customers with the option to set up recurring monthly pass purchases eliminating visits to fare vending machines; reload value onto their CharlieCard; and receive for free "No Worries Protection".

I am excited to have this service for the CharlieCard. I tested a few time but it does not show the balance on the CharlieCard. I would love to see how much I have on it. It would be a lot more convenient for riders to know how much it has before they are using it. This will prevent future waiting time on boarding a bus.
