Registry of Motor Vehicle Inspectors and local police officers in 100 communities across the Commonwealth today teamed up for the 5th annual "Operation Yellow Blitz", a joint undercover exercise to catch drivers who fail to stop for school buses that are picking up or dropping off student passengers.
Registrar Rachel Kaprielian joined police at the enforcement exercise in Watertown.
The Blitz caught more than 130 drivers, all cited for illegally passing a school bus.
