MassDOT today announced a Public Meeting on the Green Line Extension project maintenance facility alternatives will be held at the following date, time, and location:
When: Wednesday, December 16 from 6 PM to 8 PM
Where: Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, 41 2nd Street, Cambridge
MassDOT will present and seek public input on alternatives for the siting, design, and construction of a vehicle storage and maintenance facility to support the proposed Green Line Extension. Members of the public, agency representatives, and other project stakeholders are invited to attend the meeting, provide comments, and ask questions. The meeting will include a presentation.Project documents, including the Draft Environmental Impact Report/Draft Environmental Assessment (DEIR/EA), and information about submitting comments after the meeting are posted on the Green Line Extension website.
The Green Line Extension project will extend existing MBTA light rail service from relocated Lechmere Station through the communities of Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford, with an extension of the main line to College Avenue in Medford and an adjunct line to Union Square in Somerville.
