MassDOT is performing field work for the Green Line extension to Somerville and Medford. Work includes field surveys, noise and vibration testing, and soil borings.
Residents may see soil boring work this week at Broadway and Medford Street, Somerville. Next week work will be done on Walnut Street, Somerville. This work will be done on streets near the existing bridges
over the MBTA Lowell Commuter Line between
7:00 AM and 3:30 PM weekdays.
Residents may see field survey work this week and next week at the following locations:
Medford/Somerville intersection, Somerville
Washington/McGrath intersection, Somerville
Broadway Bridge, Somerville/Medford
Harvard Street Bridge, Medford
College Avenue Bridge, Medford
Cedar Street Bridg, Somerville
