Today...

I-93 Soutbound 35.2 Mile Marker (Tewksbury/Wilmington MA). MASSIVE pothole in the middle lane takes out my tire. Flat (a hole in the tread section). I look to the right and see 5 tow-trucks on the side of the road just after the pothole helping other cars ....wrecked. (Luckily I have TPMS that alerted me that my tire was hit too and I pulled over safely and awaited help.)

I called 911 and they say "we know about it we are trying to get MassDOT to send someone". I say negligent - BOTH MassDOT and Mass State Police. If anyone was injured between the time it took the first tow truck to arrive to that scene and my call to 911 at 7:28pm, it would be negligence on both parties.

When a fissure or other defect is found, the entire road section is replaced. Signs, barriers, and other features are also well maintained.....LEARN MORE HERE: http://bit.ly/dnuSGn
