I agree, rt. 27 at Sudbury/Wayland is closed....not even on the list. Why is this not updated? Some town websites give updated info, but many don't. Even WBZ radio just point you to this website, yet gives a more complete list over the radio.

New Flood Update Posted 3:30pm, including:
Wayland- Route 27 - closed in both directions. Local detour in place.

John

WBZ is woeful. On the radio driving in this morning, "see wbz.com for a list of closed roads" big help, not even the big closures were reported over the air.

Mark

What about the route 225 bridge in groton?
------------------------------------------------------
Still closed, but should be open by tomorrow morning.

Brian

Nice start, but right, incomplete as 140 is open in both directions although 140 N at exit 8 is only 1 lane. This list should be shown predominately on the MassDOT main page for such a big situation...this was a little hard to find.-------------------------------------------------------------------
Good idea, thanks, and new PM update now on the blog.

Maureen

Route 2A Ayer/Shirley is flooded
West Main in Ayer is closed
Lots of local back roads are flooded again

Susan L. Benzer

You don't mention that 119 is also closed at the Pepperell/Groton line.

Nancy

Alice, I agree! Rte 105 in Lakeville is closed with National Guard posted. This is not even on the list.

Thanks, as we emphasize, our list is state-controlled roads and cannot promise it is all inclusive, also changes frequently and we try to update.

Barbara Miller

There are many more roads closed than this site has listed. If there was a more complete and updated listing by town, it could help to avoid the terrible traffic jams we have been experiencing do to the recent storms.

Alice Mandel

This list is woefully incomplete. There should be a state site which can be accessed by the public and updated by local police. Not knowing where roads are closed will lead to traffic jams that are worse than necessary because you can't plan ahead.
