MassDOT is committed to customer service and civic engagement, and I am pleased to inform you of a busy week next week for bridge project public hearings and meetings.
• A design public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 7pm, at the Old Town Hall on 3 Silverbrook Road in Sandisfield to discuss the proposed replacement of the superstructure of the bridge which carries Routes 8 and 57 over the West Branch Farmington River in Sandisfield.
• A design public hearing will be held in Littleton to discuss a project that includes the following three bridges: Rte. I-495 over Rte. 2, Rte. I-495 over MBTA, and Taylor Street over Rte. I-495. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 7pm, in the Community Room of the Littleton Police Station, 500 Great Road.
• Also on May 5, 7pm, a public hearing will be held in the Selectmen’s Conference Room at the Northbridge Town Hall, 7 Main Street, Whitinsville, regarding the project to replace the bridge that carries Douglas Road over the Mumford River.
• On Thursday, May 6, 7pm, a design public hearing will be held at the Kingston Town House, Room 200, 26 Evergreen Street, to acquaint the public with the proposed project to replace the bridge that carries Elm Street over the Jones River in Kingston.
