The MBTA is seeking commuters willing to "Dump the Pump" and take public transportation to work in Boston as part of the Fifth Annual National Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 17.
Ten eligible candidates chosen will be provided a free 10-day commuter pass along with free parking at an MBTA lot. To participate in the promotion candidates must:- Work in Boston daily
- Drive to work from the North, South, or MetroWest area.
- Pay for parking
- Haven’t taken public transportation consistently in the last three years.
- Provide the MBTA daily/weekly updates on their experience commuting.

All submissions must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16. Selected candidates will be contacted by phone and arrangements will be made for them to begin taking public transportation on National Dump the Pump Day, Thursday, June 17 and continue through Wednesday, June 30.
