A corridor-wide public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 6:00-8:00 pm to present the scope of work for the Green Line Extension Phase I Early Bridge & Demolition Contract Scope of Work. The work is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2012 with the reconstruction and widening of the Harvard Street Rail Bridge in Medford, the Medford Street Rail Bridge in Somerville, and the demolition of an MBTA owned property at 21 Water Street in Cambridge.
The meeting will be held at the Somerville High School Auditorium, 81 Highland Avenue. The high school can be reached via MBTA bus routes 88 and 90. Parking is available at the high school along with on-street parking on Highland Avenue and adjacent streets. Accessible parking is available next to the building.
