I would like to extend a huge “thank you” to everyone who attended the South Station Expansion Open Houses this past week – we had almost 100 people attend! It was great to have the opportunity to meet with a vibrant group of individuals who share an interest in this important project.
I had the pleasure of talking with a variety of people with different interests in South Station – some who work at or close by the station, others who use the station during their daily commute to and from work, neighborhood members who live or own a business in the area, train enthusiasts and many more. All of you provided me with important information and suggestions; in turn, I hope our team answered your questions and eased any concerns about the expansion. I believe these open houses definitely conjured up a lot of excitement about the project for the neighborhood and Boston, as a whole.
